Through Earthed, I learn from global leaders in ecosystem restoration, and connect with like-minded people to problem solve and share stories. It gives so much, for such a small monthly donation. I really can’t recommend it highly enough.

Sometimes it feels as if even though you want to participate in all the productive and good that you know you can do, you have no idea where, when or how to start. Thankfully we now have Earthed. It’s the simplest of ideas that make the most impact. A truly engaging and thoughtful site, I haven’t and I won’t stop using it.

I enrolled into Urban Gardening with Alessandro to unlock the potential of my small, unloved apartment garden. The course was easy to follow and my space is already thriving with plant-life and insects.

A decade ago a platform like this was simply unimaginable. This has the potential to create a global movement, taking action in ecosystem restoration.

Smaller donations are valuable and will build a strong community over time. Larger donations help us make more courses, support the teachers and launch the Action Fund. So pay what you can — and you can always adjust your monthly contribution once you’ve signed up.

A percentage of all membership donations goes directly to Earthed teachers to support their amazing projects. A percentage goes to our Action Fund to give grants to start and scale restoration projects. And a percentage goes to the Earthed charity to make more courses and become financially sustainable.

Every Earthed member can access every course. Right now that’s ten and soon there will be many more.

Ecosystem restoration is the process of assisting the recovery of a habitat that has been degraded, damaged, or destroyed by human activity. Whether a lush rainforest stretching for miles or a buzzing insect population in the corner of an urban garden, a restored ecosystem is the foundation for the health of the planet — and its people. Head to our blog to find out more.

Earthed is part of Initiative Earth. Co-founded by Christabel Reed, Ruby Reed, and Cara Delevingne, Initiative Earth is a charity led by a team of women enabling people to restore ecosystems and revive communities around the world.
