Merlin Sheldrake is a biologist, writer, and speaker with a focus on fungi, ecosystems, and the tangled relationships that sustain life. He is the author of the international bestseller Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds and Shape Our Futures (2020), which won the Royal Society Science Book Prize and has been translated into over twenty languages.

Holding a PhD in tropical ecology from the University of Cambridge, Merlin’s research has spanned the underground networks of forests, the symbiotic relationships between fungi and plants, and the role of microbes in shaping life.
